Pink Aid’s third annual fundraiser painted the town pink. Over 500 people gathered at Mitchells of Westport for an extraordinary day of fine food and fabulous fashions. The décor was bright and lively, featuring pink chairs, pillows and dog beds. Servers in bright pink hairpieces offered “pink-a-tinis” to guests decked out in their best pink threads. The day culminated in a fashion show, featuring models and local breast cancer survivors and their loved ones sashaying down the runway in the latest fashions. Jane Green delivered the hilarious keynote address. Over half a million dollars was raised to support Pink Aid’s mission to support local breast cancer patients in need.
