The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp knows how to throw a day of serious fun. The twelfth annual Polo for Children event was no exception. Held at the Greenwich Polo Club, nearly 200 guests enjoyed the day of silent and live auctions, cocktails and a delicious family-style lunch. Guest bid on high-end auction items, including an African safari and a trip to the Emmys (complete with an A-list trip down the red carpet). Camp supporters also rubbed elbows with celebrity Jim Naughton. Cameron Merritt, a boy who experienced first-hand the joy that Camp can bring, shared how special Camp is to him and other children. Jimmy Canton, who has been with Camp since its very first session and now serves as the CEO, shared his stories about his week in the cabins. More than 100 children in attendance enjoyed a carefree afternoon in the kids’ tent. Activities included face-painting, trips to a photo booth outfitted with fun props and ping-pong matches. Funds raised will support The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp’s mission of providing a fun getaway for kids with life-limiting illnesses.
