Connecticut Challenge

Participants in the seventh annual Connecticut Challenge Bike Ride—some riders completing an exhausting one-hundred-mile course—had one thing on their minds: hope. They were there to support the cancer survivors in their lives, and to raise money that will help fund the CT Challenge’s programs that empower cancer survivors. The event drew cyclists of all ages and abilities to Westport for the memorable ride, which began and ended at the Fairfield County Hunt Club. Along the way, honor flags lined the road, with names of cancer survivors, and lost loved ones.

The CT Challenge was formed by two friends: Jeff Keith, a pediatric cancer survivor and athlete, and John Ragland, a cyclist and business entrepreneur. Thanks to events like this, the organization has been able to assist thousands of cancer survivors, and with its new Center for Survivorship, will continue to do so for years to come.
