Heckscher Heritage & Heirlooms: Farm Market Kick-off Celebration

Join us for this new program celebrating our heritage breeds on Heckscher Farm, as well as some of the heirloom plants grown in our organic vegetable garden. Meet our heritage breeds including our Guinea Hogs and new Milking Shorthorn calves, see a demonstration with our working Randall Oxen, plant some heirloom seeds to take home, and taste some heirloom tomatoes grown in Connecticut.

Explore your own heritage and have a family portrait taken on our picturesque grounds. Visit our wide variety of vendors at our Sunday Farm Market (10 am - 2 pm) to take home some local produce and products. Members: Free | Non-Members: FREE with gate admission.
